UDP with Python

I'm coding up a chat client! So far it's going ok. I have messages going to the server, but i dont know how it goes about sending information back yet... not a very effective chat module.
It will be ready in time. More like next week, since that's the due date!

Solidarity Weekend

This past weekend has been amazing :D I taught drag blues at Solidarity Weekend with Serge. It was a lot of fun, and although the lesson turn out wasn't so great, LOTS of people made it to the night dance. I love dancing. Being able to dance into fantasy worlds with those closest to you is a feeling you cant express otherwise.

The Friday night dance wasn't as fun because i spent it on a slow internet connection getting the code ready for my job interview tomorrow. I think it looks kinda cool... cyoot anyways...

Job Hunting

After fixing my online image late into the night, I think it's about time I got working on the sample code for my interview at CHRobinson. Actually I need to learn how to use ASP.Net and THEN work on the code for my interview at CHRobinson.... ... Good regardless, I need to learn it. I have it installed on my computer now, so that's the first step :)

I also teach at a swing dancing even this weekend, so hopefully I can find enough time to work on it. ^_^

Apparently, "RelanderDesign" is already a thing... who knew? You would think with an odd last name and putting design at the end would make it original... it's not like my last name is Johnson or something.... I need yet another new identity... le sighe....

EDIT: ok... so for now, I'm going with "relanDesign" ... and I'll try to edit my accounts as much as possible, but all will be solved when I get a purchased domain name :)

Well, I figured that like any other aspiring freelancer, it's about time i got a real blog. Not one i need for class and what not, but a blog I will actually update this think I am working on or just what I find interesting.
It's also good to document how things change over the year. Journals are fun, but who would want to keep your writings, feelings, and ideas all to yourself? I know I'd get bored of that real quick.

Anyways. I'm Sarah Relander. I'm going to be graduating from the University of Minnesota in May. I've had several Interviews for life after college and am currently waiting to hear back from them. Otherwise, I need to boost my self image if I'm going to be a successful freelancer.
