Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.... and stuff....
Yesterday was awesome because I got to stop in Cloquet whilst on the way home from my grandmas! Thus, I got to visit with Serge for a bit while my parents took him out for lunch.
When I got home, I called up Emily and Ben and went to see Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World.
Best. Movie. Ever.
There needs to be more movies with that kind of back animation and geeky humor.
As much fun as the movie was, I didn't have the best time... I kinda wish Ben would just move already, it hasn't been the same since he proposed to his now fiancee, and nor do I think it will ever do so. It's been kinda like a ticking clock till he move to the east coast now and it kinda puts a damper on things. The frustrating part is that I keep getting more time, when in the end I wish he'd just get it over with already.
Today was pretty low maintenance. I have several brochures to get out for work, but they are stuck in limbo. I got the starts to some point of sales pieces out and made some mockups for other parts of the site. So I'm being all caught up. go me.

3 months later... three!
so yeah, haven't updated for a long tiem. Left you all in suspense I'm sure. ???
I got the job :) I've been happily employed for the past three months upon my return from Altanta. I'm doing a lot more printed material than I originally expected, but I seem to be blending into team environment okay. A job with more coding and less printy graphicy goodness would be ideal, but it pays the student loans. Cant complain too much, I do have it pretty good.
A few weeks ago, I also receive my diploma in the mail! I'm a certified computer scientist :)
Right now, I'm sitting in my grandparents basement, leeching on the internets. I feel like I should probably go socialize... or something.... To have something fun to end with, here's my latest creation!

Wellness Resources
I have an interview at Wellness resources this afternoon! The more I look into their website, the more I actually want to work for them. They just seem very connected and the environment appears to be amazing. I'm leaving at noon for the lightrail :)

I'm coding up a chat client! So far it's going ok. I have messages going to the server, but i dont know how it goes about sending information back yet... not a very effective chat module.

Solidarity Weekend
This past weekend has been amazing :D I taught drag blues at Solidarity Weekend with Serge. It was a lot of fun, and although the lesson turn out wasn't so great, LOTS of people made it to the night dance. I love dancing. Being able to dance into fantasy worlds with those closest to you is a feeling you cant express otherwise.
The Friday night dance wasn't as fun because i spent it on a slow internet connection getting the code ready for my job interview tomorrow. I think it looks kinda cool... cyoot anyways...
